Elder Destruction: Unfair Competition.
In June 2010, a year after Michael Jackson’s death, Billboard looked at the estate’s music-based revenue streams and estimated that some $1 billion of gross revenue flowed into it. Through interviews with industry experts and our own number-crunching, Billboard examined the revenue that Jackson generated in 2012, as well as that to date in 2013, and also estimated the earnings that revenue generated for the estate. The results don’t match those of 2010, when Jackson’s loss was still fresh, but they remain impressive: 2012 music-based revenue of $544.6 million. Michael Jackson’s death was about money not him as a performer. His immense Catalogue that contained music of every artist imaginable but majorly Jackson and the Beatles.
History of Michael Jackson’s purchase of his 2 billion dollar catalogue
Michael began purchasing music rights during the mid-1980s. Once every few months a handful of America’s savviest businessmen gathered to plot financial strategy for a billion-dollar entertainment conglomerate. This informal investment committee included David Geffen, who’d launched multiple record labels and would go on to become one of Hollywood’s richest men after founding DreamWorks Studios; John Johnson, who started Ebony magazine and would become the first black man to appear in the Forbes 400list of wealthiest Americans; John Branca, who has since handled finances for dozens of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers including the Beach Boys and the Rolling Stones; and Michael Jackson, the King of Pop and chairman of the board, inscrutable in his customary sunglasses.Shares of the entertainment company in question were never traded on the New York Stock Exchange or the NASDAQ. Though few would even consider it to actually be a company, this multinational’s products have been consumed by billions of people over the past few decades. Had the organization been officially incorporated, it might have been called Michael Jackson, IncIn 1985, this conglomerate made its most substantial acquisition: ATV, the company that housed the prized music publishing catalogue of the Beatles. Included were copyrights to most of the band’s biggest hits, including “Yesterday,” “Come Together,” “Hey Jude,” and hundreds of others. The catalogue, later merged with Sony’s to form Sony/ATV, currently controls more than two million songs by artists ranging from Eminem to Taylor Swift, making it the world’s largest music publishing company. At an investment committee meeting months before the deal was consummated, however, the acquisition was looking unlikely. Michael Jackson, Inc. was deep into negotiations with Australian billionaire Robert Holmes à Court, whose asking price for ATV had soared past $40 million—prompting disagreement among Jackson’s inner circle over how to proceed. Not wanting to upset anyone, Jackson remained silent—as he often did in meetings—but he’d already made his decision. He scrawled a note on the back of a financial statement and passed it to Branca beneath the table.“John please let’s not bargain,” it read. “I don’t want to lose the deal . . . IT’S MY CATALOGUE.”A few months later, Jackson bought ATV for a price of $47.5 million. Today, Sony/ATV is worth about $2 billion; through Jackson’s estate, his heirs still own his half of the joint venture. That wouldn’t be the case were it not for the shrewd maneuvering and unwavering resolve of Jackson and his team. The incredible story begins more than a quarter century ago, in the United Kingdom, during an encounter between a famous knight and a soon-to-be king. One night in 1981 at Paul McCartney’s home just outside of London, the former Beatle handed Michael Jackson a binder. Inside was a list of all the songs whose publishing rights were owned by McCartney. After letting much of his own songwriting catalogue slip away as a youngster, he’d been buying up copyrights for years.“This is what I do. I bought the Buddy Holly catalogue, a Broadway catalogue,” McCartney told the young singer. “Here’s the computer printout of all the songs I own.” Jackson was fascinated. He wanted to start doing the same, and his entrepreneurial instincts quickly clicked into gear. “Paul and I had both learned the hard way about business and the importance of publishing and royalties and the dignity of songwriting,” Jackson wrote in his autobiographyWhen he got back to California, he found himself with an enviable problem. He’d earned $9 million in 1980 and was sitting on a pile of money that needed to be invested. Inflation was rampant in the early 1980s, meaning that fallow cash would start to lose value quickly. In short, he needed to find some worthwhile places to park the reserves of Michael Jackson, IncHis accountants brought him a number of real estate deals, but he wasn’t excited enough to buy anything. He wanted to buy songs. So his attorney, John Branca (now co-executor of Jackson’s estate), started talking to people in the publishing business to find out what was for sale. One of his first conversations was with songwriter Ernie Maresca, who had two big rock songs available: “Runaround Sue” and “The Wanderer.” When Branca told Jackson, the singer didn’t recognize them. The lawyer gave his client a tape and told him to have a listen. A few days later, Jackson called back. “You gotta get those songs!” he said. “I danced to them all weekend.”Thus began a buying binge for Branca and Jackson. They picked up a small catalogue that included “1-2-3,” a 1960s soft-rock love song by Len Barry; “Expressway to Your Heart,” a Gamble and Huff composition released by the Soul Survivors in 1967; and “Cowboys to Girls,” a 1968 hit by the Intruders composed by the same duo. If Jackson didn’t know a song, Branca would send him a recording; if the singer fell in love with it, he’d give the go-ahead to acquire it.this period and discussing which of the greatest songs of all time would be best to own (he often mentioned ones by the Beatles, Elvis, and Ray Charles, among others). Sometimes he’d quiz Langford, singing a snippet of a song and asking if she could give the title and performer. Even then, he had his eye on ownership at a scale few could have fathomed at his age.“He wanted to be the number one publisher in the world,” she says. “And . . . it would come up in lots of different ways, but [his goal] was always number one, getting to that number one spot. Being the biggest, being the best.” But then the people around him…Sony and Branca…want what he owns. The Catalogue!
In 93 Weitzman and Cochran settle the first molestation trial, the total lack of promotion of his Album “Invincible , The terrible 8 months, from May 2002 to January 2003 that Martin Bashir lived with Michael and gave the devastating interview and the second molestation event.

Sony,John Branca, Phillip Aschutz ,Howard Weitzman, Harvey Levin, Jason Pfeiffer , Muhammad Khilji,Robert Lorsch and Branca’s friends ,R.Todd Nelson and Kim Wilson attempted to blame the death of Michael Jackson on Demerol from Dr. Klein while it was clearly due to totally improperly administration of the dangerous general anesthetic Propofol combined lethally with Ativan by Conrad Murray. In 1997 Arnold Klein dealt with Michael’s Propofol dependency in much more positive manner. The dangers with Propofol is the manner in which it is delivered, the available equipment and the education and experience of the individual delivering it. In the 1997 concert in Honolulu, Hawaii (first Leg of History Tour) Klein chased Steven Hoefflin out of Jackson room who appeared high on Cocaine, with Propofol in his luggage without necessary equipment . The second leg of the “History Tour” began in Bremen Germany and there was no time for withdrawap when Klein had the first time to discuss with Michael his use of Propofol. While it was limited to tours Klein was most concerned with who delivered the Propofol and the manner in which it was delivered. Michael swore to use it only to induce sleep. Klein told CNN that Jackson hady used an anesthesiologist to administer Propofol to help him sleep while he was on tour in Germany and if CNN said the anesthesiologist would “take him down” at night and “bring him back up” in the morning . If Michael felt Propofol was necessary it would only be delivered by a certified anesthesiologist. This was decided by an addiction expert working with Jackson’s internist. While there are many theories on the drugs Jackson used Dr. Klein is very aware of his history. Klein worked both with Jackson’s internist and a addiction specialist when treating Jackson and was Jackson’s treating physician and confidante since 1985. While Jackson would never reveal his history of Propofol use until 1997 many people are not aware of Klein’s history in the field of Drug Addiction,Besides being a renown Dermatologist
Arnold Klein is a recognized authority on Drug Abuse. He published “Drug Trip Abroad : American Addicts in Amsterdam and London” which dealt with the direct heroin maintenance of heroin addicts in London and was a member of the Expert Panel of Drug Dependence of the National Research Councel and warned the Medical Board of the dangers of Oxycontin, .In 2004 the Federation of State Medical Boards paid by Purdue Pharma the manufacturer of Oxycontin promoted education of Doctors for under treating pain. Dr, Klein complained to the Medical Board of California and they would not listen. It was merely Purdue’s attempt to promote a legal heroin. In 2010, the United States, with about five per cent of the world’s population, was consuming ninety-nine per cent of the world’s hydrocodone (the narcotic in Vicodin), along with eighty per cent of the oxycodone (in Percocet and OxyContin), and sixty-five per cent of thehydromorphone (in Dilaudid). As narcotics prescriptions surged, so did deaths from opioid-analgesic overdoses—from about four thousand to almost seventeen thousand. Studies have shown that patients who receive narcotics for chronic pain are less likely to recover function, and are less likely to go back to work. There is no evidence that the prescription of narcotics to treat chronic, non-cancer pain is effective over long periods: most studies of prescription narcotics last only twelve to sixteen weeks. How did doctors, who pledge to do no harm, let the use of prescription narcotics get so out of hand? Because the Federation of State Medical Boards called on the boards to punish doctors for inadequately treating pain.

Steve Hoefflin was the plastic Surgeon who first addicted Michael to Propofol and in 2003 Jackson issued a cease and desist against Hoeffllin who did a VH1 special about the surgery he did on Michael . Unfortunately Jackson’s addiction to Propofol continued What is Propofol? Propofol is a dangerous general anesthetic which soon became the only way Michael could sleep on tour . it is why Jackson’s died. With Michael it began with the excessive surgeries Hoefflin performed. “Mr Jackson would be anesthetized with Propofol and the clocks in the operating room would be turned ahead by hours,” “Mr Jackson would then be revived, look around the room and settle back to sleep. The clocks would then be reset to reflect the correct time. This gave Mr Jackson the perception that he had just undergone a nasal surgery of several hours, when in fact he was only unconscious for several minutes. On endless occasions Dr Hoefflin had Mr Jackson’s wristwatch turned ahead and later returned to the correct time so that the scheme would be foolproof.” Eventually Dr Hoefflin was deceiving the reclusive singer so regularly that other doctors tried to intervene, arguing that the constant anesthetic was dangerous, . Dr Hoefflin defended himself, saying if he didn’t pretend to work on the star he would go to another surgeon who was prepared to do the work. Dr. Klein discovered Michael’s use of Propofol while touring during the “Bad Tour “ when he found it in Michael’s bathroom in Goettenberg Sweden (Hoefflin was on the tour ) and Klein discussed the dangers with Frank Dileo. Michael also used it throughout the History Tour, and Dangerous Tour. Dr. Klein also discussed the dangers of Propofol many times with Jackson \
Arnold Klein hired Howard Weitzman as his attorney for the Botox trial in 2004 which preserved the use of the product. Botox. They discussed Michael ‘s hatred of Sony(he called Mattola the devil in 2002) and his immense dislike for John Branca who had his separate deal with Sony.. I told Weitzman that Jackson had changed his Will twice in 2003 once with Al Malnick in Brighton Beach Fla then a second time three months later .He removed David LaGrand and named Al Whitman head of his foundation and gave specific people specific amounts of money on his death. Dr. Klein had seen a copy of the will at his Windsior house, Dr Klein also discussed Michael’s drugs of abuse since the first molestation event. There was valium, xanax, atarax and the worst Propofol. Howard had no idea what Propofol was so Klein described what it was.
In 2006 Michael Jackson went to Vegas from Ireland because he was broke..
He was going to work with Jack Wishna but once his family showed up with their immense demands Michael became debilitated and could not do 2 shows a month. Dr. Klein went to see Michael In Vegas in 2007 and met Dr. Conrad Murray who Micheal said was incompetent.. Klein asked Murray to leave and had a long talk with Michael about Propofol.
Michael still needed money but was in no physical condition to do 30 shows. Jermaine introduced Michael to a conman Tohme Tohme who knew a fellow Lebanese- American Tom Barrack. Barrack knew a Philip Anschutz a very rich notorius conservative from Colorado who was very antigay. The American Foundation for Aids Research (Amfar) which is the largest Aids research group in the world ( founded in Klein’s living room) pulled a fund raiser out of Aspen because of Anschutz support of Amendment 2 in Colorado preventing gays from.living together in 1992.
Aschutz and Barrack had one interest Michael’s Music Catalogue together with Brancha. Levin and Weitzman. They bought out the Prince of Bahraine’s interest in the immense Music Catalogue of Jackson’s. Barrack also happened to be foreclosing on Conrad Murray’s house in the Red Rock Canyon Section of Vegas and Murray was up to his neck in debt, desperately needed a job, and agreed to care for Jackson at night meaning deliver Propofol. Murray was hired to care for Jackson. But was he Licensed in England? He was hired to give Jackson Propofol and was totally ignorant and AEG made sure he was ill equipped. Klein would frequently be called at 4am and begged Jackson to move into his house and away from Tome Tome and Murray. What is Propofol? Why is it so dangerous? is not a shot it is a general anesthetic emulsion which should be administered only by persons trained in the administration of general anesthesia. Every time Propofol is delivered There is narrow band between Life and Death. Sedated patients must be continuously monitored, and facilities for maintenance of a patent airway, providing artificial ventilation, administering supplemental oxygen, and instituting cardiovascular resuscitation must be immediately available. Patients should be continuously monitored for early signs of hypotension, apnea, airway obstruction, and/or oxygen desaturation. These cardiorespiratory effects are more likely to occur following rapid bolus administration as used by Conrad Murray. Propofol administration depends on a skilled Physician as described above and requires proper equipment. Howard Weitzman, John Branca and Frank Dileo all knew of Michael’s dependency on Propofol from Dr. Klein as did every member of my office staff! and It was widely publicized in the news about Hoefflin and I talked to all three about it.“ Murray is responsible for Michael’s death he not know how to deliver Propofol and was totally ill equipped and dangerously combined it with Ativan ….On the day of his death when Murray entered Jackson’s room in the afternoon and found Jackson in bed and not breathing. Jackson had a weak pulse, his body was still warm and with proper equipment he could have been saved. Murray tried to revive Jackson for five to ten minutes, at which point he realized he needed to call for help. Murray stated that he was hindered because there was no landline in the house. Murray also stated that he could not use his cell phone to call 911 because he did not know the exact address which everyone in the world knew Murray stated that he also phoned security, but did not get an answer. Finally, Murray ran downstairs, yelled for help, and told a chef to bring security up to the room. By the time security called 911, Murray’s lawyer stated that at least 30 minutes had passed.
Statements described Murray as using a non-standard CPR technique on Jackson. During the tape of the emergency call, released on June 26 one day after Jackson’s death, the doctor was described as administering CPR on a bed, not on a hard surface such as a floor, which would be standard practice. The doctor’s attorney said that Murray placed one hand underneath Jackson and used the other hand for chest compression, where the standard practice is to use both hands for compression. Was Murray ignorant or just waiting to see if his job was done.?
Michael dies and what does the Coroner find, acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication after suffering cardiac arrest —there is no Demerol. An anesthesiologist is easy to find at $ 150.000/ month but these these people wanted an incompetent physician and Michael’s Catalogue.
The HIPAA Privacy Rule protects the individually identifiable health information about a decedent for 50 years following the date of death of the individual. This period of protection for decedent health information balances the privacy interests of surviving relatives and other individuals with a relationship to the decedent, with the need for archivists, biographers, historians, and others to access old or ancient records on deceased individuals for historical purposes. the Privacy Rule permits a covered entity to disclose the relevant protected health information of the decedent to such persons, unless doing so is inconsistent with any prior expressed preference of the deceased individual that is known to the covered entity. Dr. Klein had a written agreement with Mr. Jackson since the first molestation event never to disclose health information to anyone even family members except if agreed to by Mr. Jackson. In the case of Mr. Jackson’s death no information was to be released. the Agreement was at Klein’s Windsor Residence,
But the Media courtesy of Harvey Levin,Vanity Fair,John Branca,Randy Phillips,Howared Weitzman, Kimberly Wilson and Bradley Sharp are going to try to blame Michaels death on the small doses of Demerol Klein employed. The truth did not matter they have the media and Politician’s on their side. Anschutz i and Branca are close to California State Politicians.. They must distance themselves from Murray and put the blame on Klein’s small doses of Demerol. With the public totally ignorant on the dangerous nature of Propofol, their scheme will work. Pfeiffer illegaly released Dr. Klein’s records on Michael Jackson to Randy Phillips of AEG in violation of HIPAA and erects a website to contact the Medical Board over Dr. Klein.
(Website to report Dr Klein to Kimberly Wilson of the Medical Board of California regarding the death of Michael Jackson and Klein’s mental status. Here is Jason Pfeiffer who tried to overdose Dr. Klein on Coumadin illegally changing Dr. Klein’s Will and Trust with a Lawyer Klein never met and giving him Moban when they wanted Klein to enter bankruptcy court against his own volition. Private Bank is owned by john Branca and the Judges and lawyers of Bankruptcy Court. .Pfeiffer,Khilji and Lorsch opened 14 fraudulent bank accounts in Dr. Klein’s name,10 at John Branca’s Private Bank and reporting Dr. Klein to the Medical Board.. Why? Because Pfeiffer and Lorsch are also working with AEG and Private Bank and launder 55 million dollars for themseleves, of Dr. Klein’s not paying the IRS..Richard Charnley then illegally released records on Michael Jackson to Harvey Levin in violation of HIPAA, Richard Charnley participated in the illegal Medicis Settlement as well as theft of funds from City National Bank and worked with illegal accounts at Private Bank. John Branca has 2 seats on the board of Private Bank and Bob Lorsch shows up the day Michael died to set up fraudulent accounts by identity theft at Private Bank to launder funds of Dr. Klein’’s. In the “Second amended Complaint ” they admit all the accounts at Private Bank were opened by identity theft,
Michael’s Catalogue is how this started and the lies about Dr. Klein is how they kept this going and trying to Destroy his ability to Practice and Recover from this slander, embezzlement and lies,. Michael never ever had an issue with Demerol..and Klein worked with an addiction expert and Jackson’s internist and used very very small doses does not matter. Michael never signed the agreement to hire Murray he knew he was incompetent, The fact that Tom Barrack hired Conrad Murray because he was forclosing on Murray’s home and Michael was addicted to a drug which required a skilled anesthesiologist to deliver shows AEG’s Randy Phillip’s John Branca’s, HarveyLevin’s and Howard Weitzman’s interest was the Music Catalogue They tried to destroy Dr. Klein practice with 4 years of negative horrific publicity, closing his office for 100 days, connecting his bankruptcy to 51 (?) shots of Demerol when he only used 31 and ignoring the 10 fraudulent accounts opened at Branca’s Private Bank which were used to launder Klein’s funds by Muhammad Khilji, Jason Pfeiffer, and Robert Lorsch and deposit the fraudulent mortgages. the theft of Klein’s funds through fraudulent accounts at Excel and Laundering of $10 million of Funds by Khilji, Pfeiffer and Lorsch of Dr. Klein’s at City National . Klein did not make a single mortgage on his properties, he was robbed. However Klein used this time to become better than ever at his craft.
Klein used the time to become better than ever at his craft!,
Dr. Arnold Klein rebuilt the face of Michael Jackson for the film and tour “ This is it.” With out Dr. Klein’s work there would have been no film in that Michael would have refused to work.,. Many years before Klein was out of the country and Jackson cancelled a video special with HB0. Klein had used small doses of Demerol to take the anxiety out of the sessions. as he had before. Klein worked with an addiction specialist Marc Honzel who had dealt with Jackson’s drug problem’s before and was called 3 days before Jackson died . . Jackson had a history of Problems with Ativan, Xanax, Valium and Propofol . Klein spent 150 hours and with interest is owed in excess of $100,000.00 for his work. The Actions and words of Randy Phillips of AEG ,the words of Harvey Levin and actions of John Branca have cost Klein $4 million a year in lost income for 4 years, $16 million total, then the physical and mental pain and the loss of Michael his dear friend
